MOESC to Hold a Secular Meditation Lunch and Learn

Mansfield, OH (September 19, 2024) — Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center invites district administrators to a Lunch and Learn: “Be Well, Live Well, WorkWell—An Introduction to Secular Meditation: Supporting Staff Wellness in Schools.” The event will be held at Mid-Ohio on September 30, 2024 from 11:45-1:45 PM.

The presentation will be led by Rachel Wixey and will explore how secular meditation for nervous system regulation supports staff wellness in schools. Participants will experience how practical it is to engage in these secular meditation practices for wellness.

Rachel Wixey is the Founder of WorkWell and Wixey Center for Wellness, organizations focused on bringing meditation for wellness to the forefront of personal health. Rachel’s work helps others to establish an understanding of the effects of stress on the brain and nervous system, and secular meditation practices to support mental, physical, emotional, social and psychological well-being.

This event is free and open to district and building administration. Registration is required by Wednesday, September 25th.
