CPI Training To Be Held at MOESC
Mansfield, OH (October 5, 2023) – Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center will be hosting Crisis Prevention Institute, or CPI, training in the coming months. Training for Autism Spectrum Disorders Supportive Strategies for Crisis Prevention will be held on October 10th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

CPI Refresher training will be from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the following days:
- October 16th
- November 9th
- January 8th
- March 5th
- April 23rd

CPI Initial training will be from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the following days:
- November 16th
- January 17th
- March 20th

These are in-person training sessions that will be held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, 890 W. 4th Street in Mansfield.
CPI is a safe, non-harmful behavior management system designed to help human service professionals provide the best possible care, welfare, safety, and security for disruptive, assaultive, and out-of-control individuals even during their most violent moments.
Interested participants may sign up at the MOESC website, www.moesc.net/register. Client/Member cost for any of the courses is $60.00 while the non-client cost is $75.00. Anyone with questions about the training may contact Jennifer Crum.
Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts and over 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
